Twelve Kingdoms (downloads)
The ebook files are available at the links below. The doc files can be viewed and downloaded at Google Docs in a variety of formats. All publication rights remain with the copyright holders.
When downloading a file, Google Drive will default to preview mode. To skip this step, click the download icon at the top right on the Google Drive page.
Chapters are numbered sequentially for file management purposes. The [part + chapter] style used in the books is displayed at the beginning of each chapter.
Translations of Masho no Ko ("The Demon Child") and Kaze no Umi, Meikyu no Kishi ("A Sea of Wind, Shores of the Labyrinth") are available at the Worlds in Translation website.

i cannot begin to thank you enough for these amazing translations. twelve kingdoms is one of my favorite anime of all time. i am so happy i can finally learn what happened in Tai and dive back into the world of the twelve kingdoms with this. thank you!

I just rewatched the anime after more than 10 years since I last saw it. Now looking for the novels I find this very recent effort it seems surreal. Thanks for letting us enjoy this masterpiece even after it seemed forgotten.

Hello. I like others people have loved 12 kindoms after anime. You, thanks your great job, save as from deth in ignorance. But i have one questions, i can download files but can't read online. It's really difficult for me becouse i need google translate to help me. If you can fix it i'll be greatfull.

Thank goodness I found this page via Google. I can finally read Hills of Silver Ruins. For months I thought it had been taken down.
I suggest that you change the link in your sidebar to say "Twelve Kingdoms Downloads" instead of just "Downloads." I've always gotten your books from the Twelve Kingdoms section, and I was expecting this one to be in that section. I didn't think to look here. I had given up months ago but finally figured it out.
